Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro in our product management teams to facilitate our new product innovation pipeline process, using it to enable cross-functional ideation and collaboration across distributed teams. It serves as a central archive of research and interview artifacts, and to help structure and articulate of concepts for experimentation and development
Pros
- Enabling the visualization of concepts
- Associative thinking
Cons
- Usually used in conjunction with a video call application like MS Teams, and then screen shared. Group collaboration in a scheduled meeting is often difficult as someone drives and shares the screen, which usually leads to others following along in Teams as opposed to participating on the Miro board
- I don't have any data on this
- Helpful to manage projects with longer time horizons to maintain a log of learnings, findings, insights, etc.
I am able to work concurrently and asynchronously with colleagues of mine located in three time zones here in the US, in India, in the UK, and across Europe which is huge given the narrow windows of time that exists for a group that spans those time zones to meet "face-to-face".
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
I don't have any other experience with products such as Miro.
