Overall Satisfaction with Miro

My usecase for is creating boards and overviews for plannings, workshops and sometimes smaller presentations, which would profit interaction. The handling is pretty straight forward, the only time, where problems are showing, are performance issues when 100+ people are collaborating on one board. A second thing is, that miro isnt so well established as other office software and some people need an extra explanation of how things work in miro.

Pros

  • Provide a good collaboration place for a lot of people working parallel
  • Giving space to structure huge plannings on one board
  • Also offering a "virtual" creative room to pitch ideas and brainstorm
  • Great place to execute interactive workshops

Cons

  • performance optimization
  • more options for customization
  • integration for statistics and math
  • it simplified a lot of planning processes
  • helped to pitch ideas very quick
  • Agenda planning and talking something through with a miro board as solid ground is useful
It works for the most things but could be smother regarding easiness.
miro had a huge aspect regarding remote work collaboration, i couldnt think for an better virtual whiteboard. The performance is good and very rarely someone got technical problems with miro.It helped a lot to take something from meetings, if we used miro for documentation and discussion, almost everybody is able to make his point on a miro board without facing a complicated menu or similar.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Except for a wide range of MS-Office products i didnt work with direct competitors of miro, so i cant tell a lot about it, but one thing i can surely tell, miro is in every way superior to the microsoft alternatives and workarounds, no doubt.
Its great for teamwork and activities which require collaboration. For huge plannings and workshops miro is a great tool, but if you have more than 70 or 80 people you hope your internet connection is strong. For smaller presentations miro is also well suited, but there are better alternatives, nevertheless the feature to implement Presentaions in a miro board is great.
