Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro to convert information to something that is visually appealing. We use it for anything from having a seating plan, org chat, RACI matrix for roles & responsibilities and also quarterly roadmap updates.

Pros

  • Easy to use interface
  • Visually appealing outcomes
  • Ability to work with a team on the same document (especially in a remote environment)

Cons

  • I remember when I was trying to work on the ORG Chart, it was hard to create a particular version that I wanted to represent, so I had to go with the format that the tool was supporting instead
  • If you want to expand the scope, you can look into tools such as Metro Retro, that are incredibly useful and easy to facilitate Retrospectives
  • Better Visualisation of Information

I have used Metro Retro for a simpler version to use for Retrospectives, which is also free.
I think Miro or similar tools are becoming incredible important for any organisation, especially after COVID and more people working remotely. They are easy to use and produce appealing boards at the end, always helpful to visualise any information that you want to share as an org, team or department.
