Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro as an all-purpose collaboration tool, such as for brainstorming, white boarding, and even performing software engineering agile practices (refinement, retrospective, etc.). It is exceptionally easy to pick up, understand and work on in real time with numerous other individuals. I love how much creativity it allows you to express too, with all sorts of assets and the ability to bring in your own. I definitely recommend it!
  • Collaboration
  • Simple design/readability
  • Creativity
  • Improvement of the Refinement/pointing tool within Miro
  • More specialized templates
  • Improved productivity
  • Improved communication
  • Improved collaboration
I have found it most useful in the very initial stages of starting a new project, namely the brainstorming phase. This is because everyone can collaborate at once, writing thoughts and ideas on sticky notes and grouping them seamlessly. We can then discuss them all as a team.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is great as a generic white-boarding tool. Whether you want a place to just throw up some stickies and group them together, or want to map out detailed workflows, Miro handles it well. It's useful as a tool for people to collaborate together in realtime, or record some documentation for a later date. However, it is probably not what you want as your core documentation tool (in terms of organizing many different pages, etc across a large organization).
