Helpful for remote working.
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Great for brainstorming, retrospectives, and charting out plots - especially now that we're all working remotely. Whenever we might have used a whiteboard or a stack of post-it notes, we use Miro instead. Best of all, the post-its stay on the board and don't end up littering the floor of the room.
Pros
- Mapping out branching storylines.
- Team retrospectives.
- Brainstorming.
Cons
- Boards can become too big and unwildy.
- Find-and-replace would be great.
- Licenses are expensive!
- Allowed us to collaborate more easily when working from home.
We could hold a virtual writers' room much more effectively than without Miro. My team is spread across multiple time zones, and we rarely get the chance to meet in person. A whiteboard full of post-its just doesn't translate well to a remote participant via a webcam. At least, with Miro, bad handwriting is no longer a problem!
