Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Great for brainstorming, retrospectives, and charting out plots - especially now that we're all working remotely. Whenever we might have used a whiteboard or a stack of post-it notes, we use Miro instead. Best of all, the post-its stay on the board and don't end up littering the floor of the room.
  • Mapping out branching storylines.
  • Team retrospectives.
  • Brainstorming.
  • Boards can become too big and unwildy.
  • Find-and-replace would be great.
  • Licenses are expensive!
  • Allowed us to collaborate more easily when working from home.
We could hold a virtual writers' room much more effectively than without Miro. My team is spread across multiple time zones, and we rarely get the chance to meet in person. A whiteboard full of post-its just doesn't translate well to a remote participant via a webcam. At least, with Miro, bad handwriting is no longer a problem!

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Great for online collaboration, especially for providing structure to what might otherwise be quite freeform discussions, such as brainstorms or retrospectives. It works less well in hybrid scenarios, i.e., when half of the participants are online and half are in a meeting room together. There's no escaping the fact that in-person collaborators can still grab the attention more easily.
