Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use it for workshops (often 5-10 people) where we brainstorm solutions (e.g., across the user journey, aligned to different themes). This allows us to collect input from multiple users simultaneously, giving everyone a voice in the process. It also enables us to easily synthesize the input, and follow up offline as needed.
Pros
- Organize the discussion into different sections (using frames)
- Collect input from multiple users at the same time (using stickies)
- Share input with users (with the export feature)
Cons
- Stickies could change shape (and not always be square)
- Tutorial could be more obvious (especially for new users)
- Follow option could allow users to follow each other more easily
- Improved productivity
- Better user engagement
- Improved diversity of opinions
It has been incredibly helpful for collaborating with colleagues across geographies. In fact, I first started using Miro when COVID happened and we could no longer conduct workshops in person. It's since become a helpful tool that serves us well in the hybrid working environment, and that I foresee us using in the future.
