Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it for workshops (often 5-10 people) where we brainstorm solutions (e.g., across the user journey, aligned to different themes). This allows us to collect input from multiple users simultaneously, giving everyone a voice in the process. It also enables us to easily synthesize the input, and follow up offline as needed.

Pros

  • Organize the discussion into different sections (using frames)
  • Collect input from multiple users at the same time (using stickies)
  • Share input with users (with the export feature)

Cons

  • Stickies could change shape (and not always be square)
  • Tutorial could be more obvious (especially for new users)
  • Follow option could allow users to follow each other more easily
  • Improved productivity
  • Better user engagement
  • Improved diversity of opinions
It has been incredibly helpful for collaborating with colleagues across geographies. In fact, I first started using Miro when COVID happened and we could no longer conduct workshops in person. It's since become a helpful tool that serves us well in the hybrid working environment, and that I foresee us using in the future.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is good for collaborative discussions, especially where we are in the early phases of ideation. At the same time, it is less suited for polished presentations to leadership. Also, older users tend to struggle with using Miro. If possible to integrate Miro with other tools (e.g., Office, Slack), that would be ideal
