Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We're using Miro for the organistation of and collaboration during our PI Planning. As we work with an intercultural team, in shared locations this is the best way to share strategy, planning and results with all teammembers in real time.

Pros

  • Flexible in Size
  • Integration of Jira Items
  • Voting functionallity

Cons

  • It could have a higher number of different colours for objects
  • The Licencse model - automatic upgrade to full User - is difficult to handle
  • Improved productivity
  • Reduced travel costs
During the pandemic miro turns out as a perfect fit to proceed with our agile projects without having all sessions together in one office. We did the whole PI-Planning and also warmup sessions.

Miro is very well suited if many team members in a virtual session are putting their ideas together and afterwards starting structuring them.
Miro is not well suited if you try to present results to a larger audience, because soemtime the scaling of the different items makes is hard to show it via presentation mode.
