Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro as a facilitation, planning and problem solving tool It aligns groups quicky and produces an artifact that is easy to refer to. We have used it for roadmap, product inception, team inception and cross functional collaboration. We also use it to manage team backlogs, deliver training, conduction workshops and retrospect.

Pros

  • Provides usable templates
  • Single sign-on
  • Easy to use for new users
  • Rapidly incorporates new features and enhancements

Cons

  • Some navigation isn't intuitive
  • Automatic locking unlocking based on frame design would be nice
  • Easier way to lock/unlock multiple items at once - rather than clicking in just the right spot
  • Improved productivity
  • Improved collaboration
  • improved alignment
  • faster alignment
It has been tremendously helpful. It's so easy to create new board and allows for asynchronous work and progress. Even when people haven't met each other, the tool is able to bring them together online.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro's templates are far more versatile for online collaboration. The other tools don't have the breadth of options that Miro has for designing and running a workshop in a matter of a few hours. The wealth of options is unmatched and often more complicated to implement.
I use Miro for all virtual workshops. We also use it for quarterly planning, roadmapping large scale projects, facilitation of working groups and groups of leaders to align on priorities and perspectives. It is an excellent collaboration space to give everyone an equal opportunity to participate in idea generation and action planning.

For teams that work together day to day, they tend not to use Miro for work tracking. It seems to be most adopted by teams that work together less regularly as other tools have more features.
