Overall Satisfaction with Miro

- collaborative brainstorming sessions with online participants
- to record peoples ideas and thoughts taht are not yet strucutred
- to synthesise ideas

Pros

  • online collaboration
  • sticky notes
  • import power point slides easily

Cons

  • voting function to be more intuitive
  • more freeform brainstorming templates - i am not a product developer but most templates are for product development or business analysts. Templates need to also meet needs of policy and research users
  • shorthand button for adding more sticky notes
  • Easier online collaboration for policy workshops
It has been really useful for our team to collaborate from different locations

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

The whiteboard in teams is really difficult to use and share
It is great to use in screen share mode so everyone can see me recording their ideas onto the whiteboard, and it is great if people are faimilar with using it. It can be tricky if people are not faimiliar. It needs more support and templates for freeform use cases like research and policy development.
