Overall Satisfaction with Miro

For personal use, collaboration and workshop design. I will create activities in Miro to help organize and collect information on user research, product design, business analysis, and more. The problems are everything from tactical to more strategic. We will start from ground zero of a project/product and all the way up to creating and implementation as a one-stop-shop in the project lifecyle.

Pros

  • real time collaboration (can get multiple people into a board at once and collect info fast)
  • can easily make usable and good looking designs
  • sharing Miro is easy. share a link and it's easy to pull up. the home page is easy to navigate as well
  • easy to conduct workshops in there. Can be the admin or participant

Cons

  • the tables are not super easy to deal with. adjusting sizes, editing content within, doesn't snap to alignment always
  • hard ask, but if Miro could edit and format similar to MS Word that would cool for writing up material
  • sticky note colors are way to similar
  • can do my job completely remote now
  • improved deliverable completion time
  • has reduced the face to face collaboration
absolutely. I work completely remote now and am able to do so because of Miro and Teams. I work with people around the country now and have even collaborated with people from different parts of the world using Miro.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is so much cleaner. I've used MURAL a couple times in the past, so it's been some time, but from what I remember Miro had a cleaner UI and made the experience easy and fun to use because of it.
Well suited: brainstorming, kanban boards, running workshops, collecting research, remote collaboration

Not wells suited: maybe in person work
