Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I am a user researcher, so always working on new projects, and carrying out initial research to understand current pain points within the organization for officers and staff. We use Miro all the way through the product lifecycle, from discovery to going live. We use Miro for workshops with stakeholders, internal team meetings, and retrospectives when reviewing the design and development of products. We love the templates that you have on offer and are always improving the tool. The addition of emojis has been brilliant, and most recently, this week, I have been producing journey maps with officers and stations it's busy; therefore, emojis are a great way for me to empathize and confirm my understanding of the current process and pain points. Overall love the tool, and I am always recommending it to colleagues in other teams.

Pros

  • Templates give good inspiration.
  • Emojis/drawing tools.
  • Collaboration is being able to all work on the same board.
  • Easy to use, great user experience.

Cons

  • Pasting images, it is annoying that you can't right-click and press paste. Ctrl V is easy, and we all know it, but at least 10 times a day I still right-click and press paste and then have to click away and do ctrl V. I always wonder why you don't allow this feature.
Amazingly, it has transformed how we work day2day in the user experience team. We are then able to share our progress with key stakeholders. It's interactive, engaging, and exciting to use. It's a refreshing change to Microsoft products.

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Easy to use, great templates, good for inspiration, easy to collaborate all of these things contribute to a good user experience, easy to share, looks professional. Looks modern/good, not clucky/old-fashioned, if you know what I mean, as some alternatives do.
