Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro in a variety of ways. Especially since the move to hybrid working, Miro has been key to collaboration. Miro allows multiple people to continually collaborate and evolve documents such as a Roadmap. It's also great for breaking work down and helps move us away from the dangerous behavior that one person does all the admin. Miro is also widely used to help solve problems at different levels of the business, from process change to team retrospectives.

Pros

  • Collaboration
  • Easy to use.
  • Excellent facilitation tool.

Cons

  • The free version limits the experience - but that is expected.
  • Ability to use breakout rooms for dot voting ( there is a manual way around this.
  • Helped identify issues in the project.
  • Helped break out large projects/initiatives together.
It has had a positive impact on our ability to collaborate with colleagues offshore as well as colleagues local to us (WFH).

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well suited for sprint retrospectives. There are a number of templates online. I have never done the same retro twice after using Miro. There is so much out there Dave Westgarth has some fantastic templates available to Miro and it's so easy to bring them into my own board and use them with the team.
