Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to facilitate collaborative discovery sessions, draw architectural designs, and various practices such as retrospectives.

Pros

  • Drawing architectural diagrams
  • Collaborative sessions such as a retrospective
  • Real-time discovery whiteboard

Cons

  • Loading of boards is often slow
  • More shapes/types of items would be nice for architecture drawings (eg. AWS resource icon pack)
  • Increased collaboration
  • Increased consistency of visualizations (flexibility of tooling)
  • Increased happiness between team members when working together
Absolutely. It's an effective remote collaboration tool for providing visualizations.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro continued to rapidly improve its feature set, which gave it overall more robust features than MURAL.
I have used Miro for pretty much everything under the sun. I believe it's well suited for discovery boards, collaborative boards, architecture diagrams, facilitating collaborative participation.

I think one area it could improve on is the Kanban plugin. Scrollable columns within a frame would be nice instead of continuously expanding as new cards are added.
