Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro to brainstorm in groups especially when we have colleagues WFH, working remotely, and working from different sites around the globe. We also use it to run workshops and as a place to store the output from the workshops. It's also a good place to dump content and organise into frames.

Pros

  • Group brainstorm capability
  • Multiple people working at the same time
  • Unlimited space to grow the board

Cons

  • Can be a bit clunky when trying to move objects
  • Locking components is a good feature but takes too long to do it for every object you want locked
  • Pasting images sometimes results in error -- have to right click --> paste instead
  • Copying components and pasting sometimes doesn't work inside Miro
  • More effective brainstorms
It allows everyone to be on a level playing field regardless of where they're working from. It also gives a record that people can view at any time.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

In my experience, Miro is a good tool to use if you have colleagues in multiple areas or working from home or working remotely
I think it's a good tool if you want a digital record of the brainstorming you do vs sticky notes
In my opinion, it's less useful for any sort of drawing or sketching brainstorming activity
