Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We have a global license. I have used it as a virtual whiteboard to be able to brainstorm, have strategy meetings and collaborate visually so multiple people in different locations can all discuss a topic and add ideas while in different locations. We use it where we would have previously used an actual whiteboard.

Pros

  • Outlook integration.
  • Remote collaboration.
  • Visualize ideas.

Cons

  • Having multiple teams linked to the same account.
  • Inviting collaborators without needing to be on a team.
  • User leaving company loses their boards.
  • More productive brainstorming.
  • More engaging virtual meetings.
  • Improved team collaboration across time zones and locations.
I was not involved with the corporate contract implementation, I simply needed to sign up using my corporate email, so it was rather easy to join our contract and gain access as a user or invite other people in my org.
It was very easy for me to sign up with my work email, I didn't need to do much else. The standard email verification and I were in. That being said, I don't love that I have to 'add someone' to a team to be able to collaborate with them, as I try to use Miro for a wide range of groups and people. It is not always the same group of people who I consider my team from project to project.
Yes, we use it extensively for remote teams who are working from home and across different time zones and locations. It has been extremely valuable as we work from home and transition to a global organizational structure.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

My company selected the corporate contract, I think it also has broad recognition and is highly regarded, so more people already were familiar with the platform and how to use it.
Great for brainstorming calls, people can be adding their ideas to the same visual board all at the same time. If users are new to the platform the board can get quite messy, so a facilitator is helpful to clean it up as you go. not as effective to be used when you are trying to present a final plan (I wouldn't use it in lieu of PowerPoint).
