Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It aids collaboration across many different functions whilst we work hybrid. It can be for kick off sessions for product development, roadmapping, competitor research, user testing and wireframing - basically any part of the product design process we can use Miro to help document our work.

Pros

  • Allows easy collaboration
  • Quick and easy to use
  • The templates provided are generally pretty good

Cons

  • Smart meetings used to be better, it's more difficult to access and navigate now
  • Miro music needs updating! Or ability to plug in Spotify
  • Big boards can lag a lot which causes problems when trying to present to others
  • Not sure
It's had a positive impact, allowing those who don't normally partake in workshops gain a voice and collaborate with others beyond their immediate team.

It's become embedded into the Product Design process and the wireframing options allow for quick testing and feedback once we've ideated. It can help you map out the entire journey of product development, from strategy, ideation, journey flows and testing results. It's also well-suited for design sprints.
