Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it for documentation of our IT systems. For architecture and design mainly. We create some overview of architecture and design but also some detailed view of our system before we develop it. We sometime use it to represent some business or system processes. When we start a new initiative, we like to use mind map in Miro for brainstorming.
  • Mindmap
  • Diagram
  • Collaborative work
  • Loading time for documents can be very very long.
  • UML graph
  • A way to organize big messy board
  • We use more picture and less text in our documentation
  • Better team collaboration
It is the main place to look at for any documentation we are creating for our IT system architecture and design. Collaboration is improved because we can simultaneously edit and update any boards. We normally brainstorm our idea on boards before we start designing and developing. It replace the white board we normally use in physical meeting room. So if a user wants to represent something live to the rest of the team, that is possible

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro works well during meetings for collaborative work. It is good when many people want to update and interact in real time with a single document.

We like to use it during status meeting. We can start a meeting and write down the agenda in Miro all together before we start discussing.

I'm questioning myself if Miro should be used as the official persistent system documentation or should only be used during project. Document classification is not as good without folder and file principe IMO.
