Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I primarily use Miro for whiteboarding sessions where I help facilitate team discussions about the timing and interdependency of key decisions, as well as new process design or existing process modifications.
Pros
- It's great for real-time collaboration. You can easily create diagrams and add content during meetings. And when you give others access to the board, they can contribute in real-time as well. This really boosts engagement for team brainstorming sessions.
- I love how easy it is to connect shapes (ideas, concepts or decisions). It's very "flowy" :)
- The UI is very clean and easy to use. It's an elegant tool. All the features and settings are very intuitive.
Cons
- I wish it had a global to the board background layer where you could add shapes that you never want to move.
- Improved collaboration
Miro has really enhanced collaboration among teams in all locations, as well as with vendor partners. It's my favorite tool for work sessions with a group of diverse stakeholders. It's easier to get folks aligned with the high quality visuals you can create within Miro.

Blueworks is better for detailed workflow diagrams of technology integrations for example. Also for tracking meta data associated with process steps.
