Overall Satisfaction with Miro
As a consultant I was asked to use Miro to brainstorm idea and build workflow, strategies, project follow-up and tracking. Finally it was possible to assign tasks. A decent fusion between digital whiteboard and project management tools. It is still used by more than 50% of the staff except designers as they already used FigJam.
Pros
- Collaborative digital whiteboard
- In real-time collaboration with multiple users with no conflicts
- Possibility to have different channels with their own access right
Cons
- In my opinion, the UI/UX is not intuitive
- Support service is questionable, especially when you are not on the enterprise plan (their most expensive)
- I believe there's not enough template, makes it hard to go past white page syndrom
- After implementation, an increase of positive feelings toward the teams ability to collaborate was collected at an average of 72%, up 10% from before.
- Managers of teams using Miro, reported a clear improvement in the quality of value justification and definition in projects
Miro helped us in difficult times, where employees had to stay home, collaboration was complex but thanks to Miro we achieved a semblance of normalitude. From that point on many tools where tested and showed better results and more suited functionnality. Although Miro is still in used, we are slowly changing it wih other solution that are better priced. We are thankful for the existance of Miro when we needed it most, but with changing times Miro has not evolved enough compared to its competition.
