Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I have used MIRO for many different projects. My team used it to track ongoing projects since it makes it so simple to collaborate and brainstorm on how to move forward. There are some great features that can be used for breakout sessions like the timer with or without music. Users can copy and paste in content or leverage the features within MIRO which includes making tables, different colored shapes that can have text put over them which I call post-its, and whatever boards you have been invited to can be seen easily on the main user dashboard. I wish I found this solution sooner.
Pros
- Easy to Use
- Simplifies Remote Collaboration
- Grows With Scope of Project
Cons
- Would be nice if there was a way to bucket certain related boards
- Additional Music Options Would be Nice
- Would be cool if there was a way to dial into the board without leveraging another communication platform for a meeting with people collaborating on the MIRO board
- Simplified teaming with remote team members
- Ability to review board changes
- Saves money on flying people to meet in person since it made it easier to collaborate with others
We started using it during the pandemic when people could not travel easily. The MIRO solution has saved time and money on hotel and flight costs for meetings since we could collaborate easily online. My current team is global so it has truly simplified collaboration especially since people can access it whenever they want to.
