Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro on a frequent basis to document process flows as part of the proof of concepts for developing and automating the current business processes throughout the company. Further, I utilize Miro to document complex concepts to present simplified versions of the matters at hand. The business problems Miro addresses is the ability to generate items for presentations/meetings in a quick, efficient and aesthetically pleasing manner.
Pros
- Generate process flows in a user friendly and effective manner.
- Create simplified visuals for complex processes.
- Ability for multiple people to collaborate on one dashboard at a time.
- The ability to export your end product in multiple ways to ensure that the end design can be shared effectively.
Cons
- I think the concept of frames could be better explained when entering the app, to be utilized to facilitate better exports.
- Add additional standardized templates to facilitate a quicker starting point.
- The ability to export directly to PowerPoint for presentation purposes.
- Reduced time to produce process flow documentation.
- More engaging and user friendly presentations created.
- Streamlining processes between business units.
The collaboration feature of Miro is greatly utilized within my company as it facilitates the ability to have live reviews while navigating the dashboard. This allowed for team members, no matter where located, the ability to all work through the same information and raise comments while interacting with the dashboard. This has led to overall reduced timing from start to finish when using Miro to generate presentations.
Miro utilizes a better software to generate frames which can be utilized to present concise, aesthetically pleasing and more interactive presentation Miro. With the lock ability, it also ensures unauthorized edits cannot be made nor can dragging items by mistake impact the overall presentation.
