Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I am a Scrum Master and I use Miro to facilitate a variety of meetings, workshops, and events. From doing root cause analysis to hosting an Oscars themed Retrospectives. I use it for just about any collaborative needs for my teams. Miro isn't a standard product in my organization, but as I show others it's ease of use, functionality, and flexibility I am seeing it be used more often by other teams.
  • Visualization
  • Workshopping
  • Collaboration
  • The depth of its zoom capabilities
  • Jira plug in
  • The arrow functionality is a bit wonky
  • Tables can be finicky to work with, such as selecting cells at certain zoom levels
  • Increased transparency
  • Increased respect within a team
  • Facilitates meaningful action items
  • Reduced cycle times
One of my recent teams has used Miro to visualize and ideate our next planning increment. It has created a simple and effective space to move around elements of a quarterly plan in order to identify what would be most effective in terms of flow and team capacity. Few tools make it so simple to move items around.
Miro, to me, is the better product hands down. It's easy to learn and teach. As well as creating fun and dynamic collaborative spaces for my teams to use. I found the other products lacking in features or clunky to use. Miro has depth without complexity, and simplicity with robust features.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is great for Agile teams where collaboration is frequent and key to a team's success. Retrospectives, sprint planning, root cause analysis, and workshops are all examples of events I frequently use Miro for. I use Miro less frequently when I am simply presenting information and collaboration isn't a requirement for the meetings success.
