Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for brainstorming sessions, creating strategy plans, and illustrating workflows. It is helpful because it is collaborative, allowing multiple users to work on it simultaneously. They have recently added an AI integration, which has helped streamline our processes and reduce the total time it takes to complete some tasks and sessions in Miro.

Pros

  • Easy to create templates from scratch.
  • Allows multiple people to work on same template at the same time.
  • Can add other documents (ex: pdfs) to the whiteboard, has a lot of different tools.

Cons

  • Can be hard to locate the correct board, UX needs improvement.
  • The more elements on the board, the slower the load time and the ability to work on the board.
  • AI integration needs improvement, needs to become more collaborative.
  • Improved Productivity, less time back and forth with more collaboration.
  • Transparency across many different teams.
  • Easy process documentation and illustration that is clear and actionable.
The integrations were straightforward to implement and a nice addition to our process and strategy documentation. We integrated with Google Drive and Asana, enabling us to track and update task completions.
It has been super helpful to collaborate on a doc remotely. Since we work remotely for the most part, we can't use a traditional whiteboard in the office, so this has been a great alternative, even better than a whiteboard, because it saves our work and allows us to define and illustrate our processes and strategies.

We have a remote team, and having a digital board that everyone can access and work on simultaneously is extremely useful, especially for meetings. It is like an advanced Google Docs space, allowing for more complex designs & templates to be utilized in the space.
