Overall Satisfaction with Miro
In the design sphere, Miro helps with a lot of collaboration with the internal team and the clients. It is mostly used for the initial brainstorming phase and helps to become an organized campground. It would be beneficial if Miro could offer better presentation options.
Pros
- Collaboration with the team.
- Organizations of Ideas.
- Seamlessly integrating with the remote workforce.
Cons
- Presentation options and making it more professional.
- Supporting GIF formats better and allowing different play options.
- Better grid controls.
- Improved productivity.
- Allowed for remote collaboration with the workforce.
- Cut down on project timelines by bringing the team together.
Being in organizations with offices across multiple locations internationally, Miro has helped better tap into the talents across the globe to contribute towards a project. It really helps to bring global and diverse perspectives up for discussion. I think that the lack of ability to use Miro as an online whiteboard would significantly impede the team's ability to get work done.
I think Miro is a strong competitor. However, it lacks in providing more control, which certain industries- especially the creative industry—might want. With efficient support across Grids, typeface choices, GIFs, and other design toolkit elements, Figma surpasses what Miro can offer. However, given how user-friendly Miro is, if additional features were added, it would become the top choice.
