Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro helps me grasp the scope of my projects, and break it down in manageable, workable parts. I collaborate with my partner, and it being accessible from everywhere makes incremental improvements to the ongoing projects very easy. Sharing multiple boards also makes it easier to manage parallel projects, and the Google Drive integrations make me spend less time "managing files" and more time "thinking on solving problems."

Pros

  • Provide real time collaboration
  • Crossplatform accessibility
  • Particularly good UX

Cons

  • Fine tuning and customizing (shapes for example)
  • More options on text formatting
  • More options on integration features
  • Increased productivity
  • Faster problem resolution
  • Quicker objective mapping
This feature works very well on smaller teams. Five to ten people collaborating work really well, but larger teams (for example, above 15 people) can make it very confusing. There's some performance loss as well on larger scopes. This is a tool for smaller projects (or different parts of a large project).

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is very well suited for engaging in design process, and breaking down big problems into smaller parts. Plannings, Kanban boards, mind maps, all of these work very well in Miro, as do flowcharts and simple designs. Miro is not very well suited for project management and 10+ simultaneous collaborators. This is not a substitute for specialized project management tools.
