Overall Satisfaction with Miro

In my university, we use Miro to share content among all members. It is also used as a place to upload projects and receive feedback from professors. Furthermore, in Miro, we can see the schedule for the classes so that we can prepare before a class and know which materials need to be read.

Pros

  • Share between users.
  • Great for cooperative work.
  • Clean and Organized workspace.

Cons

  • The Phone App is difficult to control.
  • A user can make a mistake and ruin the whole board (from experience).
  • More design options.
  • Faster Communication.
  • Clear Understanding.
  • Sometimes loss of work.
It has allowed multiple members to work at different times and places together. It also allows the ability to receive constant feedback from other members or bosses. It is a great tool for non-instant communication and allows everyone to work whenever they can but still be informed. That's mainly how we used it.
  • Notion
I use Miro since it's what my university uses. However, I think Miro can learn from Notion in how elegant and organized it can sometimes be. Miro has more freedom of movement that Notion just does not possess. However, in certain aspects, I do prefer the limits Notion gives so as to keep the focus on the work itself.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

No

While Miro is simple to use and a good app, it is not one of my favorites for organization. It needs a bit more professionalism or a more serious focus at times. The accidental movement of boards or others or the need to constantly zoom and unzoom can make it difficult to use.
