Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro to organize my teaching lessons for my students. I am a private English and French teacher, Miro helps me to showcase the materials to my students, it's also a valuable source for designing my lessons.
Pros
- AI incorporated in Miro is good! I always delete the background for thr images and AI in Miro does it fast and very precise.
- I like that when i copy something and the paste it, it is pasted in the exact place I put my mouse on. It accelerates the whole lesson making process for me.
- I like the opportunity to create different boards for different students.
- It's great that you can work together with your students in real time.
- I like the way YouTube videos are demonstrated in Miro - you can watch it without ad, which is very important during the lesson.
Cons
- I don't know a lot of functions and it's difficult for me to find out about them, because there is no (or maybe I missed it) manual or 'how to' for Miro's functions.
- I struggle with drawing arrows in Miro because whrn I use this tool, the arrows want to stick to something, when I just need to show direction. It would be great to add arrows in figures section.
- 3 free boards are not enough for private teachers.
- It improved the visual part of my lessons
- It simplified the whole lesson process
- It's much faster to prepare lessons using Miro
- It's a unique file where your student and you can work together, share materials etc.
My students now always have an opportunity to get back to lesson's materials to revise words or grammar rules. It saves my time as I don't need to copy the materials and send it to them.
Students can work in real time and I can see what they are doing or writing.

I still combine Miro with other sources. But Miro is understandable, it's simple and obvious in the way it can be used.
It's like a ppt, photoshop and Figma combined.
It works fast, it has nice features that I need to work with: figures, colors, fonts.
Also the board is endless (at least it seems so :)). and you can put a lot of materials on your board.
