Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Currently Miro is used to create and store all the visuals and graphics for the new features that we are developing. This is used across teams by designers and product managers. It helps to keep all the UI elements into one place and also create a flow which can be easily monitored and tracked. Miro boards are easy to share within the organisations and can be signed on using SSO.
Pros
- It really helps in collaboratively working on a feature and note the changes and ideas coming out of a brainstorming on a sticky note which can also be colour coded
- While creating a new feature, in order to ensure every screen that a user is going to see is ordered and all the different UX elements can be linked in a flow
- It's really user friendly, easy to understand and use. Miro boards can be customised easily and also has drag and drop functionality which really comes in handy.
Cons
- It can work on performance enhancements in terms of load time of the boards when they are large and complex
- Currently its all on cloud, if there is a way that these boards can be downloaded offline and used that will help in case of poor network or remote work
- Improvement in the onboarding when someone is very new to Miro will definitely help, if there are tutorials while onboarding that would be great
- It has definitely helped in better collaboration and reduced time
- It has improved the productivity as now people can quickly brainstorm on the ideas and also put notes
- Easier for the team to complete the tasks and give better tracking of the changes and flow of processes
Yes, definitely. We have teams sitting in different countries who are working on the same project and thus this tool really helps as to can shew real time changes and also people can put their comments and ideas. Miro boards can be used as a one place to discuss every UX element and implement faster. This is a great tool for collaborative work.
