Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used as a collaborative tool with our clients as well as by individuals.Where clients are involved, they are often virtual workshops such as brainstorming, retrospectives, ideation and process design. It can also be used to put some initial wire framing processes together for discussions. As an individual, I use Miro as a way to document mind maps and entity structures for projects, such as considering digital capability domains and relationships between technologies or features.

Pros

  • Collaborative workshopping
  • Process and Service Design
  • Templated speed to market

Cons

  • There can be challenges getting permissions and guests into the platform
  • Sometimes users have to completely refresh to bring interactions back
  • Increased stakeholder engagement
  • Improved collaboration between teams
Miro has greatly improved our capabilities for remote team collaboration both internally amongst our product teams as well as client teams and third party organisations.

We have been able to design and build a number of templates for various workshops that means we can move quickly to run sessions without having to start from scratch.
I prefer Miro over Mural as I find but much more intuitive to use.
This includes the interface, the ability to find and use templates as well getting others to sign in and collaborate.
The way to interact with the white board is easy for new people to pick up with no need for in depth training.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Designing and running workshops for remote teams is the perfect scenario that Miro can fulfil. Users can be given contributor access to a board and then add their own sticky notes, they can write comments, tag items and much more. This allow for a truly engaging and collaborative experience.

Using one of the many templates available can also provide a good starting point for creating new collaborative spaces.
