Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As a long-time customer, I can confidently say that Miro has become my indispensable go-to tool for planning and visualization, both in business and personal contexts. Business-wise, I use Miro to sketch solutions, create strategic mindmaps,
develop product roadmaps, and design workflow presentations for leadership, employees, and stakeholders. On a personal level, I extensively use Miro to map out my development journey including all my studies. To me, Miro's flexibility is its greatest strength: Whether I'm running my own business, freelancing for others, or working as a director of product—like I used in the past—, Miro consistently DELIVERS. In fact, among all the web services I've subscribed to maintain my productivity at high standards, Miro is the only one I continue to pay for. Quick brainstorming sessions or complex, detailed planning, come rain or come shine, it doesn't matter: Miro is my catalyst for clearer thinking, better communication, and more effective execution in both professional and personal spheres.

Pros

  • Designing Workflows
  • Brainstorming practically anything
  • Diagraming practically anything
  • Mind mapping practically anything

Cons

  • Managing Tables: Creating, Editing, and Styling are hard
  • The contextual formatting bar: Sometimes it gets in the way
  • Handling Slides/Presentations: Not easy
  • Menus: Hard to find my way around sometimes surrounded by a sea of icons.
  • Organization: Sometimes I sketch complex solutions but Miro helps me keep it all neat, fresh, and clean.
  • Reduced time and risk running SOPs: All my business SOPs are in Miro and with a quick glance I can run them leaving no wiggle room for mistakes.
  • Super high productivity: This is the result of having Miro as my go-to place to work and providing my magic to others in an organized, efficient, and effective way.
I haven't used it to collaborate with others yet. I work with [...] and although they love the tool, they are super resistant to adopting it.
MindMeister was expensive and rigid. Miro is more affordable and flexible. That is essentially the case here.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I can't think of anything that Miro is less appropriate. I'm always talking about Miro with friends and colleagues. I can understand that people who are not "visual people" have a hard time with tools like Miro but if they are highly visual like me, Miro is the best out there.
