Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for design reviews and collaboration.

Pros

  • Intuitive enough even for beginners
  • Very collaborative
  • Very versatile

Cons

  • For designers there could be more ways of improving visuals
  • Automation like numbering/counting - for reports
  • Components would be great to use - like in Figma
  • More collaboration - being able to share/work outside of the design team
  • Improved productivity
  • More transparency
This is definitely true, with Miro, the synchronous and asynchronous collaboration with teams spread across locations and different timezones is way easier. From the comments to the version history, our team can keep track of everything and increase the speed of the co-creation.
Miro is more versatile than Figma Jam. In our case, it also has to do with licenses and the possibility of sharing outside the design team.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is perfect for collaboration, ideation and doing activities where you need a lot of freedom (I would say, more on the creative side of the job). What I would like also to have is a way of being more structured so it allows more automation. Some of this is already being solved with AI, but when you need to build reports, eg, it would be great if we could have ways of referring to specific elements in Miro (like showing the ID of a sticky note).
