Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use it for process mapping and collaborating with remote team workers.

I find it useful for brainstorming and workshopping ideas. I can easily move ideas or add visuals to ideas to stitch together a concept.

Probably don't use the integrations enough, which appear powerful but need to spend some time on this.

Pros

  • process mapping
  • brainstorming
  • story board

Cons

  • exporting to pdf can be glitchy
  • gifs can be slow to upload
  • linking to google suite
  • I understand it is very pricey and may be removed from our organisation
  • Its very positive for remote workers, a great place to collaborate
  • Have found it useful for online training sessions as it is more engaging and diverse than a slide pack
I think so, this is my preferred way to collaborate on ideas and we have a remote team.
Confluence is ok, but I find it a bit dry. It is more structured than Miro and that can be helpful in some situations.

Nintex am not a fan of at all.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Its not appropriate for detailed user stories to be tracked, I find JIRA much more useful for this.

It is however better at the concept stage, where a process is to be mapped or a concept is to be sized (by a group).

Its great for pulling together images to form an idea, like a virtual smart whiteboard.
