Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Remote brainstorming work, synthesis of interview findings, deck buildout, vision boarding. It addresses the fact that we can't always be post-it-ing in the same place, and also enhances our ability to visually collaborate on vision boards without printouts. I've also used it for client workshopping, and journey mapping.
Pros
- Live collaboration
- Freeform organization of ideas/creation of frameworks
- Image importing
- Flow charts
Cons
- Need sort functions
- Need invisible borders
- Alphabetical sort of stickies
- Font customization for branded work
- Better sentiment analysis - it has never worked for me
- Kanban sort
- Better remote work flexibility
- Improved productivity
- Truly collaborative brainstorms
- Quicker synthesis
Hugely - we have a crossnational and international team of researchers and wouldn't be able to do what we do without Miro. We also have been able to have interactive client brainstorms fully remotely, OR half-remote half-in person and have actual participation from the remote participants. We've even done remote cardsorts
