Overall Satisfaction with Miro
In a scaled organization, we use Miro for many different reasons across our various business units, teams, and roles. In my Transformation area, we are constantly using Miro as our digital whiteboard to map out priorities, structures, and processes and consistently deliver virtual training. Beyond transformation, we are educating the importance of teams having an information home where they can collaborate, share, and discover work through the use of Miro.
Pros
- Easy templates to visualise workflows relevant to teams use cases.
- Intelligent tools to create process flows and connect relevant information with various visual cues.
- Creative tooling to create immersive experiences for various events, including pictures, icons, gifs, external media
- Facilitation tools to help drive outcomes in meetings using Miro.
Cons
- Smarter alignment functionality needs to be researched. There is still so much time spent trying to correctly align the visualizations you create.
- Better integration with external media that works across groups e.g. music and videos.
- In-built creative widgets would be really useful, such as "rolling the dice" or "picking a random card," which would help add a lot of creativity to activities.
- Improved team feedback.
- Higher creativity in teams.
- Saving costs by forcing people to come together by providing a virtual collaboration platform.
Miro has allowed people from across the country and even internationally to collaborate on objectives and activities as if they were in person in one room.
