Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We are a team of five people who work both in the office and remotely. Miro is our favourite tool for working together as a team. We always use it at the start of a new project for brainstorming and collecting ideas, whether it's research, mind mapping, or team voting—depending on the current assignment. We also work with Miro during our design sprints.

Pros

  • Great playground for ideas where everything is possible and still in one place.
  • Organisation of a wide variety of content (text, pictures, tables...)
  • Helpful tools for meetings such as voting, timer and many more.

Cons

  • You keep moving and/or renaming frames unintentionally.
  • The scale ranges from tiny to huge when several people are working on the Board.
  • We love sticky notes - unfortunately the choice of colours is limited.
  • Improved Productivity because it also fosters creativity.
  • Saves time because everything is in one place.
  • Only one tool is needed - no extra tools for presentations, ideation, design thinking....
Even though our company now works "in the cloud," Miro offers an unrivaled level of collaboration and ease of use. Everyone can access information at any time, add to it, and develop it further. There are no longer 20 versions of a PowerPoint file or a Word document. There's room for everyone and everything here, and you can communicate with each other even if you are not in the same place at the same time.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is perfect for when several people are working simultaneously and yet independently of each other, e.g., brainstorming, brainwriting, voting, etc. We are currently using it to plan a prompting event for our department, and everything from the poster design to the detailed challenges is here. However, Miro is not suitable for longer lists that need to be sorted.
