Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro in multiple ways. We have bi-weekly Sprint Review presentations and we use Miro as our slide deck tool. We often use Miro for brainstorming activities and for meeting agenda items. We often use Miro to do software evaluations and even for Software documentation.

Pros

  • Slide Deck Presentations
  • Wireframing / Prototyping Screen Designs
  • Software Documentation
  • Brainstorming Ideas

Cons

  • AI integration seems very limited
  • Diagramming could be better, more like Visio
  • Product Roadmap Creation could be better
  • Images and Icons could have more varied options
  • Miro makes my job fun, so there's a Satisfaction Impact
  • Copying Objects between Miro boards make me more productive
  • Miro is relatively easy to use / understand making me more productive
We integrated Miro with Azure dev ops and it seemed OK but not perfect.
We normally just log into the same Miro board to collaborate.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

If you are creating software documentation, that also needs to be part of a presentation, Miro is excellent. Brainstorming ideas is a better use case for Miro. Also you can create basic, starter wireframes in Miro that can be given to UI / UX designers.

Complex diagrams, such as making an ER Diagram or a data flow diagram is best done in Visio or something else.
