Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Primarily use Miro for planning exercises including PI planning, value stream roadmapping, sprint team retrospectives, team topology and tech stack mapping/point of truth.
We also use for product discovery, quality assurance wireframing, team contracts and general collaborative workshopping.

Pros
- Real-time team collaboration
- Faciliation tools (private mode, timer, voting)
- Colourful and visually appealing work spaces and templates
Cons
- Dependencies tool - only shows dependencies lines between Jira tickets when the Dependencies app is open. As the app takes up 1/4 of the screen when open, this feels like a waste of screen space.
- Planner App - is very slow to load and update.
- Jira cards - don't currently clearly/nicely show the Epic/Parent each ticket belongs to on the card. Making it hard to plan/track when all tickets related to an Epic/Parent are going to be delivered
- Jira cards - Unsure what the point/function of the square with three horizontal lines in the Jira card is for? When I click on it, nothing happens. Yet its default to appear in all Jira cards. Feels like wasted space..
- Miro provides an easy to use, real-time collaboration tool which allows more effective virtual meetings/workshops, enhancing the shift to flexible/wfh work environments

Once you begin using it, Miro feels a lot more intuitive to use. The templates and default shapes/colouring makes things visually appealing and easy to navigate.
