Team Member review of Miro
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I find the tool useful for a variety of different use cases.
I am a visual learner so frequently map out half-baked diagrams on pieces of paper to help cement ideas in my head. Being able to do this virtually and flesh out ideas over time is incredibly valuable. My work is predominantly virtual so being able to work on things asynchronously as well as synchronously ensures progress is made even if calendars don't align.
The navigation controls are intuitive and I never feel like the tool is getting in the way of my thought process, I'm able to easily get my thoughts down on the page without feeling hindered.
It's great to see that features are continuously being added to the platform, either from Miro directly or through the marketplace. It's also worth noting that the community of other engaged users is useful when it comes to borrowing templates & tweaking them to my own specific needs.
In my role I use Atlassian products, and Miro integrates well with these which is useful for any techniques such as User Story Mapping whereby I can brainstorm things on stickies and then copy these across to Jira.

Pros
- Navigation
- Synchronisation with other tools e.g. Jira

Cons
- Awareness of upcoming features - perhaps I just haven't looked hard enough though
- Hard to say
Facilitates work both synchronously and asynchronously.
Limiting access to viewer/commenter/editor is also very handy when sharing more broadly in the organisation
