Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We used it for collaborative teamwork in a remote environment. This allows us to work on a communal project on each team member's own schedules, and Miro allows us to access the project, as long as there is Wi-Fi available. We also had the option to draw visual aids, rather than just write. The site cannot be accessed by outsiders who do not have the proper credentials.
Pros
- Ability to work remotely
- Collectively work with other team members on a document
- Ability to add visual aids and diagrams
- Secure website
Cons
- The website does not work well on tablets. It is very hard to scroll in and start typing.
- I find it annoying that we are limited to a certain number of characters in each text box.
- It would be convenient to have a feature where editors' comments can be added and clearly summarized.
- We have not commercialized our project yet.
- I find myself to be more productive on other websites, such as Google Docs, as it is much easier to work using that website.
We have team members located around the world, and we were all able to work on our collective project at convenient times in our own time zones.
