Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use it for many things. Product Discovery, Ideation, Retros. But also communicating and maintaining our Product Roadmap and day-to-day Kanban boards - Miro is quickly becoming a better solution for Agile workflows than tools like Youtrack / JIRA.
We started using Miro as a white-boarding tool, but it's quickly becoming much more than that..

Pros
- Capturing info from Retros
- Communicating and managing Product Backlogs
- Managing Kanban boards with non-technical stakeholders
Cons
- Sharing functionality and UI could be improved - I often find I've not selected the correct sharing settings
- I find that many stakehodlers get a little overwhelmed when using Miro for the first time - there could be some way to better onboard new users
- More templates - these are always good
- Reduces time in meetings as info can be gathered asynch
- Improves communication of key ideas
- Could save money on competitive tools - such as YouTrack - that we also use for Kanban and backlog management.
I think it's helped greatly with collaboration esp. with stakeholders located in remote offices / in different time zones. It also helps provide transparency to thinking which is hugley helpful to folks not co-located.
Microsoft Whiteboard tool is pretty poor compared to Miro. I love that Miro is always adding new features and functionality which helps evolve it's utility beyond white-boarding. This does not seem to happen at Microsoft.
