Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We are a startup company who doesn't have a lot of processes in place, and Miro helps us create workflows as we start to define processes within the organization. Miro has quickly become popular amongst various departments, started by our Project Manager, then passed to me in Marketing and even the Sales department. It's been a great tool to help map out these introductory processes and workflows on different projects.

Pros

  • User friendly. I'm able to navigate the platform well as a "newbie" to workflow building.
  • Variety of options. I like how there are several shapes, arrows, colors, etc. for me to choose from to help keep things as clear as possible when presenting.
  • Collaboration: I can work on a flow at the same time as a colleague, making editing so much easier.

Cons

  • Some sort of AI suggestion service on how to categorize/format information would be great.
  • More note-taking options aside from sticky notes.
  • Improved productivity: We spent less time trying to recall who was working on what and instead referenced the Miro to pinpoint responsibilities.
  • Organization: We now have a point of reference for how things are meant to be done.
I don't use this feature often, but when I do it's especially helpful to work with team members that are out of house. We are able to see edits update in real time and share ideas in an organized way. It has become one of the main ways our company tends to collaborate on projects across departments.
I am only really familiar with Canva in comparison to Miro. I think I enjoyed the ease of using Miro and its' dedication to the niche. Canva is a great design platform that offers services for workflowing and collaboration, but that isn't its' main priority. Miro has taken the time to perfect its' craft in being a user friendly workflow platform.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I've used Miro for a variety of projects. I mainly use it to workflow marketing campaigns and the steps that go along with each milestone. It's a great way to visually convey the details and information my team is asking for in a collaborative way that makes the most sense. I work with those with a resistance to technology, and Miro helps bridge that gap.
