Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for strategy planning, virtual whiteboarding, teaching moments, huddles / team gatherings, team building, organizing ideas, problem solving, process flowing , and many other items. This tool allows me to have a space to myself, and also spaces that I can leverage to actively work with others in my organization for cross functional collaboration.

Pros

  • Templating
  • Access - views and roles within boards
  • Initiative Design

Cons

  • Sizing of items and ability to zoom (maybe my system?)
  • Lack of colors in things like stickies
  • Lack of colors in things like tags
  • Improved team moral
  • Ease of cross functional collaboration
  • Ease of process and strategy design and approach
This, in my opinion has been the #1 reason why I like Miro as much as I do ... it has been easy to use and enabled teams to collaborate virtually regardless of location.
Overall very similar Lucid is more known in the engineering community and has better easy of process / flow charting / diagramming of items.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well suited is that it is quick go to - because of it's intuitive design and ease of use.

I do see though that there are other competitors out on the market that offer a cleaner solution to things we are working on where flowcharting is MUCH easier (like Lucid).
