Miro Review
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro for collaborative design discussions and ongoing development, scheduling and pull planning, and presentations to clients. We also use it for interactive visioning sessions with clients to host discussions and get their interactive input.
Pros
- Large never ending canvas
- pulling in images, links, materials from various media types
- interactive live, everyone can jump in at the same time
- great templates and intuitive controls for annotations
Cons
- printing, printing slide decks or overall screen shop. sometimes its not easy to find or export information
- organizing the frames in the presentation mode is not intuitive if I want to move the order of my slides or frames around
- Calendar style templates that automatically update dates. We use this a lot for pull plans that are organized linear style by week. More options to have a starter template where you can type in the start date and it automatically populates the weeks moving forward would be great.
- increased interaction with collogues and clients
- Faster turn around on design efforts
- increased productivity on projects where teams are split across multiple offices
Miro has greatly improved out ability to collaborate virtually all at the same time. I would guess 80-90% of our organization uses Miro on every project.
Miro is faster and easier. Miro also has never-ending paper space, which is nice.
