Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Team processes: we use it during retrospectives and backlog refinements. As a data analyst, I used to document analytical events, describe warehouse problems, and discuss potential solutions. I like the flexibility and the possibility of mixing different shapes (e.g., tables, sticky notes, voting, connecting dots, and arrows). Miro's flexibility helps to draw any problem in a remote world.

Pros

  • Voting
  • Gallery of shapes and objects (tables, emojis).
  • Easy collaboration.

Cons

  • Board organization is quite difficult, and I often fail to find the desired board (I don't think the search option works 100% accurately, too).
  • Faster remote collaboration.
Significantly, it's way easier with Miro.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

In general, Miro is amazing, but it's pretty expensive, so I would not recommend it constantly. Other tools can serve similar purposes (e.g., PowerPoint online), making it not always 100% suitable for the use case.
