Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro every day as a form of visual communication. I use it for mind maps, slide show style presentations, documentation and planning. It also has great smart drawing tools to make my freehand sketches easier to understand.

Pros

  • Large canvas
  • Frames
  • Smart links to objects on the board
  • Previews for external links

Cons

  • I'd like to be able to add stickers to the board that identify me as a user - for things like where I sit on a mood board, voting on ideas or things I am working on
  • Easily accessible planning documentation reduces time to get approval
  • Increased productivity thanks to the Jira plugin
  • Improved collaboration with shared spaces
Easy to drop in integrations using the plugin library
As a remote first team, Miro is essential for whiteboard based ceremonies.
It's also really easy to collaborate with people external to the business
Miro has a lot of complex features but it's really intuitive to use. We don't have to spend a lot of time explaining how to do things and can get into the meeting quicker

Great for agile ceremonies, presentations, and visual communication.

Not great for really detailed company specific documentation - it's not got some of the structures of list management tools like Trello, or content authoring tools like Articulate or Canva
