Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro as many things, ref board, brain storming, mood board, giving and receiving feedback. Delivering tasks is another way of using it. It's very useful in our industry which is video games, as an artist my self we always need a good visual input as feedback and a fast way to show different designs to our art director
Pros
- Incredibly well structured UI
- The best ref board out there
- Easy to design simple things
Cons
- Sometime the color hues available yfor sticky notes or elements are not exactly the same as the ones for text it could be nice to have them equal
- With Miro the average meeting time has gone down more than 50% it is now easier to just say its on the Miro board, take a quick look.
- On boarding process takes much less when the Miro board is well structured. People get on their feet a lot quicker and without having to depend on others
Miro has an incredible UI, easy to understand UX which is important with new members of our team and the first uses of the app. Our choice to use Miro at the studio is mainly because we're a 100% remote game studio where everyone has to have a good understanding of the projects while maintaining high productivity. Thanks to Miro it is easier than ever to brainstorm, give and receive feedback on the go and make everyone always keep the visual goals clear.
Miro Is just way easier to use, not to mention the core functionality is a bit different both can be used for the same things
