Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Defining the product lifecycle and marketing plan for our upcoming gaming-centric product offering for artists and animators. Very use Miro to collaborate in defining our goals, aims, and targets, as well as the likely approaches worth discussing during our weekly syncs. It lets us independently define our ideas and give a place to work together towards translating those ideas to actions

Pros

  • Collaborate between various stakeholders
  • Offer visual clarity to complex ideas
  • Easily workshop ideas without time commitments

Cons

  • Integration with bespoke tools
  • Multi-lingual support
  • Improved productivity
  • Quicken uptake from ideation to actionable tickets
  • Increase awareness and understanding of timelines and planning on a longer term basis
Easily integrated with off the shelf products such as jira, google docs/sheets, etc. harder time integrating with custom internal solutions that require bespoke work to properly display into a Miro-friendly way. This could be a limitation of our internal tools as much as the inflexibility of Miro's API, but integration proved harder at times than desired
Positive impact on ability to collaborate across remote teams - it's let us be able to sit in a zoom chat and work together in both a verbal and visual way to quickly define our needs beyond meeting notes to actionable results that are easily Injested to our task tracking software

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Excellent tool for collaborative problem solving in the product space - allowing teams to quickly iterate in approach and expected results. Could improve in it's ability to handle inputs from various sources, especially those that are a bit hard to translate to visual style
