Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Agile planning, brainstorming and value mapping for research and development organization. We use Miro to coordinate between multiple teams (~30 people) and is helpful for planning complex projects and interdependencies.

Pros

  • Visualization of complex ideas
  • Identifying dependencies
  • Sharing concepts between many people

Cons

  • Integration with export compliant tools like export controlled jira
  • Ai powered tools to suggest organization and content for whiteboards
  • Ai powered summaries of content
  • Improved productivity
  • Clarity on goals and commitments from team and leadership
We need a tool that is export compliant, which integrates with Jira. This is not currently available to my knowledge.
Yes, we have teams in 4 different US states and this helps with coordination tremendously
The Teams tool we used was not very accessible and struggled with real time collaboration

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro has been very powerful for coordinating multiple teams and planning out complex projects and interdependencies.

Miro is difficult to use for export compliant projects containing technical information. It already integrates with Jira which is the tool we use, but we have to use an export compliant version of Jira which makes the Miro integration break.
