Great software on the whole
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is awesome for putting all my UX research stuff together. I can make different "zones" on one big board and it's very handy because I can have interview notes in one spot, key findings in another, and then group those findings easily.
Seeing everything together like this makes it way easier to spot patterns without having too many chrome tabs open.
It's also much easier to keep stakeholders updated with the research progress, as all the files are right there, from the research plan as a document, to all the interview tracking. I also appreciate the feature where Miro AI groups stickies and adds a brief summary to them. I've used this frequently to double check my synthesis to see if I have missed any patterns, or before my synthesis to give me a sense of what the data is saying. It's amazing

Pros
- Excellent UI: the stickies look realistic, and I love the way Sticky Stacks are presented
- AI Grouping works pretty well
- I love having the ability to create documents and presentations in the same space as my sticky notes.
Cons
- Navigation from the home page to a board can be slow
- There are no "sections" with restricted access, or "personal" spaces for draft work. Everything is visible to everyone in the team
- The present mode doesn't always work the best, doesn't allow me to have speaker notes while also zooming in and out of boards.
- improved status visibility
- improved buy in from all stakeholders
- improved stakeholder understanding of projects
It has been central to streamlining our sharing process with the entire team. As all our documentation lives in one board, it is very easy for remote members to be onboarded to projects. It centralizes brainstorming, planning, and feedback, and everyone can contribute in real time regardless of their location.
