Very special tool.
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use it to map processes, especially when communicating with students.
Pros
- Describe processes.
- Documentation
Cons
- A few more image templates.
- More free icons and images.
- It helped with centralizing documentation. That was the biggest gain.
The Miro tools that have the biggest impact on my day-to-day are the Infinite Canvas and the Sticky Notes, because I use them constantly for quick, barrier-free ideation. Real-Time Collaboration and the vast library of Templates are key to speeding up my team's work. Ultimately, the ability to use Integrations with project apps like Jira and Slack is essential for centralizing my entire workflow and providing instant visual collaboration.
Miro has become my central visual strategy hub. It now handles the 'first draft' ideation and mapping, meaning I only use specialized tools like Figma or Notion for final execution. This dramatically saves me time, as Miro's strong integrations with platforms like Jira and Slack allow me to manage projects and communicate context without constantly switching applications.
There are processes that need to be mapped/built by several people from different teams. Miro is being fundamental in this journey.
